In 2015, PSA was asked to be the lighting partner for Nightscape at Longwood Gardens. We were tasked with finding solutions to three lighting challenges while still folding our aesthetic into the overall design. In 2016 Philly Strikes Again was asked to come up with lighting solutions to seven different areas. Our solutions were a mix of simple but effective up-lighting to advanced pixel mapping. The display was robust enough to weather summer through mid-fall elements and bring joy to the many people who came and experienced it.

For Beacon Church in Kensington, PSA created a sculpture of 200 light bulbs. Each bulb represented a light within the community. The installation is in the shape of a cross and dips in the middle of the sanctuary where services are held.

The Time Machine was a 100-foot-long interactive piece installed in the lobby of the Kimmel Center for the duration of the PIFA Festival. The different elements were activated through a variety of gestures that were sensed by the tube. These actions included motion sensors that detected bodies in space and modulated a pulse of light as well as a pair of steel rods that could read someone’s heartbeat. This heartbeat information was then processed and the user’s heartbeat began to populate a field of 300 hanging crystals.

In 2017 PSA was asked to design, fabricate, and program a six foot diameter LED disc that serves as the central focus of EKE Arts sculptural installation for the Brower Student Center at The College of New Jersey. The purpose of this project was to display the phases of the moon as a visual calendar along with accurately timed sunrise and sunsets.
