PIFA Festival

WE USE BOTH CUTTING EDGE AND TIME HONORED TECHNIQUES TO CREATE INNOVATIVE AND IMMERSIVE LIGHTING DISPLAYS. WE HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THEATRICAL, ARCHITECTURAL, AND LIVE EVENT LIGHTING. WE USE THESE SKILLS TO DESIGN PROJECTS THAT CAPTURE THE IMAGINATION.

The Time Machine was a 100-foot-long interactive piece installed in the lobby of the Kimmel Center for the duration of the PIFA Festival. The different elements were activated through a variety of gestures that were sensed by the tube. These actions included motion sensors that detected bodies in space and modulated a pulse of light as well as a pair of steel rods that could read someone’s heartbeat. This heartbeat information was then processed and the user’s heartbeat began to populate a field of 300 hanging crystals.
